The Citadel Our Mass Effect Roleplay's version of the Citadel is an ancient deep-space station that serves as the political and financial capital of the Sol System. After the Crucible was detached from The Citadel it was found that most of those onboard, including the refugees from Omega and Batarian Space, were still alive. The Council was almost immediately overthrown after being scapegoated by Sol's citizens for the reaper's attack and lack of planning prior to it. C-Sec quickly stepped in to gain a semblance of order on the station, but most of it's inhabitants set towards solid ground save a handful of volus, turian, and asari. Those who remained devoted themselves towards returning the Citadel to a seat of economic and political power. The Council was reformed with each planet and race's new governments creating new seats in the Embassies. Extranet broadcasting also helped keep the Citadel pertinent, keeping the majority of journalistic broadcasting between Earth and the Citadel itself. Earth The homeworld and capital of humanity, our Mass Effect Roleplay's Earth is the epicenter of Sol's art and cultural movements. Humanity has kept the majority of Earth. However, in a good will gesture, the other peaceful races were given their shares of the planet as their own territories. The turian were given rights to the continent of Australia, the asari gifted the South American continent. The drell who broke off from the Compact found a new home in the arid Middle East and Northern portion of the African continent. They shared the continent to the south with the Salarians, who found the jungles of the Congo quite similar to their former home world. Due to all of these forces there has been little to no dispute over its lands since these charters were created in the early 2190s. Moderators: The Bird of Hermes, Terra, Asarinha, Minagen |

Luna Our Mass Effect Roleplay's version of Luna, a moon of Earth, was an early source of helium-3. Luna is now mined for materials used in space habitat construction. When land allocations took place the batarian population was given the domed over craters for habitation. Knowing that they could easily cause trouble, they were kept close to Earth so as to keep an eye on them. To further the safety of the rest of the galaxy against batarian aggression, the Hierarchy's military was given a fourth of the Moon's habitable domes so that Luna initially existed in a military state. For the first ten years after the war the batarians were denied spacefaring capabilities, which had the additional boon of the moon becoming well developed with elaborate construction. Since 2227 they have been given limited access to ships, gaining their way towards redemption in the eyes of the rest of Sol's races. Moderators: Terra, The Bird of Hermes, Asarinha, Minagen |

Mars Our Mass Effect Roleplay's version of Mars has been heavily disputed over the past decades. The effort to terraform Mars returned with vigor after FTL travel became limited. It became even more critical when the ban on mining near the Prothean ruins lifted, making Mars the main source of eezo in Sol. Salarains initially wanted singular repopulation rights to the planet, but after a decade of debate the asari arrived upon it's surfaces. In recognition that another war would not help any of the parties involved a pact of cooperation was formed in 2202, helping salarian interests bring their innovative mining processes to the planet even though asari gained the lion's share of the access to it's eezo. Mars now is split racially over it's Northern and Southern Hemispheres altho many salarians go to the Southern hemisphere to help distribute the eezo there. Jupiter Our Mass Effect Roleplay's version of Jupiter is comprised mostly of empty space. Deep gravity and high radiation levels leave the planet totally inhabitable. The only way that any life can exist near the planet was with the creation of orbital stations in high orbit at Lagrange points. Early on these habitats, being so far from the more civilized planets, were overtaken by the krogan and, to a lesser degree, vorcha. Warring clans occupy different moons, breeding at a high rate now that the genophage has been lifted and needing more and more space constantly to support their clans as they get larger. With their lack of engineering the stations face premature depredation, leaving it's already enraged inhabitants eager to find new land to settle upon, and willing to use hostile means to gain it. Mercury The difficulties imposed by the planet's proximity to the sun and high orbital velocity have limited development greatly. A handful of solar power stations exist on "peaks of eternal light" at the north and south poles, which means most of our Mass Effect Roleplay's Mercury population exists on orbital stations full of miners on leave from their families. The work to mine Palladium and Platinum leaves them away from their family for long stretches of time and in dangerous conditions, barely made safe by armored worksuits but lured in by the high pay that such mining can offer. Yet the hardest part of living near Mercury isn't the job itself, but the pirates that often attack the stations in hopes to steal their mineral lodes. Merc groups like the Blue Suns and Blood Pack have found new work in keeping the miners safe from pirates, but has a costly fee for their protection. Neptune A slow in FTL travel turned our Mass Effect Roleplay's Neptune back into a viable consideration for atmospheric habitation. The portion of the quarian fleet trapped within the system found their ships remaining in this area with hopes of using the Helium-3 there to travel beyond Sol. When these hopes seemed less and less viable help came from a surprising source in the geth. The synthetic race created schematics to turn the quarian's ships into orbital stations that required very little fuel to sustain them. The quarian now contribute the majority of the Helium-3 to the Sol System. In a gesture of thanks, the quarians offered space on their new home to the geth, altho the two races remain segregated. Saturn Due to it's gas giant state most of the action on our Mass Effect Roleplay's Saturn ends up on 13 of it's moons. The harsh conditions on the moons have turned them into hostile environment training facilities for the various militaries of the Sol System. All the races have respective rights to the different moons, with the Systems Alliance maintaining rights to it's largest, Titan. The areas not used for military purposes are dedicated to mining for hydrocarbons. Moderators: Terra, The Bird of Hermes, Asarinha, Minagen |

Uranus Another gas giant, there is no room for development on the surface of our Mass Effect Roleplay's version of Uranus. However, Uranus moons lend ample space to develop upon, and also to mine. With the resources being as highly profitable as they are and it's distance from Earth, this area also draws in the majority of the system's outlaws and pirates. The moon Miranda's giant fault canyons allow for more than ample space for outlaws to hide out, which makes Uranus one of the most dangerous locations in the Sol System. Every race has representation in these areas after the widespread disillusionment since the reaper war, but the Blue Suns and Eclipse all have the highest numbers here. Venus With little other space not contested and their non-confrontational nature, the hanar and drell began early on to build aerostat habitats outposts floating in the atmosphere of this Mass Effect Roleplay version of Venus. The aerostats allowed the two races a place to live safe from the surface's molten temperatures and sulphuric acid clouds. These outposts hinder population significantly, leading many drell to abandon the Compact and try to make their way to the Citadel or Earth instead.
